We are looking for a mechanically minded Manager with understanding of all trades to join our team.
Fresh produce facility close to Penrith. Our produce is supplied to all major Australian supermarket chains, as well as independent grocers and a range of food industry stakeholders.
As part of a growing business the role will need someone with experience and passion but also a willingness to learn and accept new challenges.
This is a hands-on role and includes;
Co-ordinate and manage your team to provide efficient and effective service to production, including constant communication to production managers with high focus on equipment reliability
Responsible for planning and repairs within budget
Providing day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team ensuring good communication is maintained while complying with all company policies and procedures.
Utilise and maintain CMMS(Computerised Management Maintenance System)
Contractor Management
Coordinate project work
Utilise all appropriate safety and food safety procedures
Maintain equipment to ensure it is running effectively & efficiently
Preventative maintenance & breakdown work
This job requires decisiveness, quick response, fast action and good delegation skills.
About the role;
Monday to Friday role with occasional weekend work
About you;
You must be an action orientated implementer
Mechanically minded with understanding of all trades
Minimum of 3 years frontline management and leadership experience required
Strong problem solving ability and adaptable to change
Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and execute work orders in hastened but considered fashion
Good leadership qualities and people skills
Experience within a food operation highly regarded
Previous experience in a similar role
Have a Can Do attitude
Excellent communication skills
